Anesthesiologists
The Zimmer Mini-Fellowship Training Program will provide anesthesiologists in the community an opportunity to increase their skill levels in an identified area of peripheral nerve blocks for use with Zimmer® MIS™ procedures. It will allow them to increase their knowledge in acute orthopaedic pain management and enhance their practice of orthopaedic anesthesia, thus improving care of patients undergoing Zimmer® MIS™orthopaedic surgery. Participants will be provided with an exposure of peripheral block techniques including continuous nerve blocks for knee and hip surgery and acute pain management as well as orthopaedic multimodal acute pain techniques.
