V-STAT® Variable Soft Tissue Alignment Tensor

V-STAT Instrumentation

The V-STAT Tensor is designed to help distribute contact stresses symmetrically across the knee through ligament balance. This provides quantitative information to the surgeon that facilitates bone resection, selection of soft tissue balance decisions,1,2 and selection of patient-specific components. The V-STAT Tensor can be used with both cruciate retaining and substituting philosophies.
