Designed for strength, stability and longevity, Zimmer offers surgeons the Trabecular Metal Glenoid, a component designed to hold the hope of enduring fixation. Fixation may be enhanced through Trabecular Metal Material’s biologic in-growth properties. Completely open and interconnecting cells are designed to allow vascularization and support more normal bone formation. |

The Trabecular Metal Glenoid has strength and stability designed to facilitate long-term survivorship. Biomechanical testing shows initial, intermediate and long-term stability superior to that of an all-polyethylene cemented glenoid. In a separate test, the Trabecular Metal Glenoid achieved 350% of the post-cyclic shear strength benchmark.
The Trabecular Metal Glenoid is compatible with both the Bigliani/Flatow ® Shoulder and Trabecular Metal Humeral stems and heads.
